Go To Acapulco Tomorrow Every Day Of The Year

In one of his talks, Zig Ziglar gives the scenario of a good friend coming to you one day with the news that he’s just been given 4 tickets to an all inclusive round trip to Acapulco where you will live like royalty for an entire week.
The friend and his wife are using 2 tickets, and he wants to know if you and your spouse would like the other two. The only problem is that the plane takes off at 8:00 tomorrow morning.
Assuming missing work wasn’t an issue, you would have a lot of loose ends to tie up at the house before being able to take off. Getting packed, arranging day care, finishing up business deals, getting a rental car, etc.
With a definite dead line and the promise of a pleasurable trip in mind, you would get more done in that one day than perhaps you would have gotten done in 2-3 days or even a week.
Zig then asks, why not go to Acapulco tomorrow every day of the year? How much more could you get done if you added a sense of urgency to your tasks, knowing that big things won’t happen unless you focused and completed the work.
Make a list of what needs done and knock them out one at a time, allowing nothing to distract you until the project is finished.
