5. Robbins On Change

Yep, I’m still going through some of the classic Tony Robbins

materials (This stuff never goes out of date). Here’s some cool

strategies for Change…

Two Most Important Factors for Change:

1. The ability to manage your state

2. Who you surround yourself with

and also…

“Change is never a matter of ability. It’s always a matter of

motivation.”

-Tony Robbins

That’s all for now, be sure to snoop around the blog to check out past newsletters and graphics freebies.

All the best,

-Phil

Special Note From Phil

My aim is to give great value in these emails. Often times I
have something that excites me that I want to share that I don’t
have an outlet for in my day to day affairs. They just don’t get the
I.M thing, ya know? This newsletter lets me share some things that
I’ve created, things I’ve learned, and special deals too good to not
tell someone about. Not every product mentioned is for everyone. If
something fits in to your current business model, consider how it
may help you take things to the next level.

From time to time I will mention products of which I will receive a
commission from. That’s normal in this game, right? What you won’t
get is a bunch of garbage just because its the newest guru launch or
a bunch of “make 10K by tomorrow garbage.” I think we’re all sick
of that.

Anyways, if you need to chat about something. I’m a real person here
on the other end. Just hit reply to this email.

If you create micro niche affiliate sites, then this graphics freebie is for you. The two factors niche website builders are most concerned with is traffic and conversions. This post focuses on the latter.

Below is a screen shot from one of my site from Oct-Dec of 2010. Not great, but the site was set up a year and a half ago and I haven’t touched it since, no backlinks, nothing. It does have decent on page seo and the exact keyword is the url. The few visitors that do arrive are buying though because of the sneaky graphic elements I’ve added to the page.

Here’s a sample of what the page looks like.

Disclosure: This may be considered “gray hat”. Use at your own risk. I say this only because the banners haven’t been approved by Amazon/eBay.

I used a free Max Banner Ads plugin in order to add the horizontal banner at the top content area. This is a common strategy taught in several courses, but I’ve enhanced it with green plus buttons over each item. These really seem to draw the visitors in. Clicking on the banner takes the visitor to the results page on Amazon for those same 4 items. You can find the product images over at Amazon.

The other graphic element is the sneaky search box at the top of the sidebar. You want to edit this using any graphics editor so that your site’s main keyword is in the search box area. The visitor probably landed on your site looking for that item anyways, so this is a very attractive option for them. Plus they see the trusted branding from Amazon/eBay. This isn’t a real search box though of course, it is merely a banner that takes them once again to the results page over at Amazon (through your affiliate link).

A bit sneaky, yes. But in the end, the visitors find exactly what they are looking for over at Amazon/eBay. This free graphic download includes the layered PSD files for easy editing, plus blank jpg files for adding your text and images on top.

There is something about being a part of a supportive group of like minded people, like a family. If this sounds cool to you, I urge you to take a 10 day test drive at Dennis’ place for just $3.

I’m always trying to listen to good stuff that will keep my motivated to taking action. One of my favorites is Tony Robbins. I recently took down some notes while Tony was going over a very powerful 12 step goal setting plan.

The following series of goal setting questions are taken from my notes on a Tony Robbins program. Take 10-15 minutes reflecting on each question.

1. Make an inventory of your goals and dreams. What are the people, places, and things that you want to be part of your life? What do you want to achieve?

2. How long will it take to reach each of the above goals?

3. Pick the 5 most important goals for this year. Write a paragraph for each one on WHY you will achieve them.

4. Review your 5 goals and ask yourself:

Are they stated in the positive?

Are they sensory specific?

Is there an evidence procedure so that I will know when I’ve achieved them?

Are they obtainable?

5. What resources do you have to reach my goals?

6. List 3-5 times in your life that you used your resources and abilities to be successful.

7. What kind of person must you become to reach these goals?

Do you need more discipline, more education, or a better attitude?

8. What prevents you from having the things you desire right now?

9. What are the necessary actions you need to perform consistently to reach your goals?

Who can you model that has already achieved what you want?

Start backwards. What must you need to do right before you achieve your goal? What before that?

What can you do today to get started?

10. List 3-5 people who’ve achieved what you want. What are their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors?

What advice would each give you in the pursuit of your goals?

Enlarge and focus on pictures and images of what you want on a regular basis.

11. Create an ideal day. What people are involved? What would you do? Where would you go?

12. What’s the perfect environment, supplies, and support that you would need to achieve your goals?

Take an inventory of what you already have that you’re thankful for and things you’ve already accomplished.

This week’s graphics freebie will help you in creating great looking WSO’s over at the Warrior Forum. For the first one, just paste it anywhere in your sales copy where you want a nice clean break in the flow of content.

If you use these images in your WSO’s, let me know and I’ll send my list a link to check it out!

2. New Name!

For a while now I’ve been wanting a new name for the site that better suits the content. “Value Covers” was born out of my original plan of just offering ebook and book cover designs. But I don’t want to be limited by just that. So, the new name I secured and the name of the blog will be “IMGraphicsPlus.com”

Look for announcements for when the site moves over.

3. Internet Marketing Success Is A Matter Of Choice

James Schramko is one of those guys. This Australian marketer has some simple wisdom in his newest blog post, where you’ll learn what internet marketing success has to do with billiards.

Just look for the post titled “Internet Marketing Success Is A Matter Of Choice”

4. The Ultimate Success Formula

I’ve been listening to a lot of Tony Robbins lately, and came across a very simple, yet powerful formula for success in any area of life.

Here’s The Formula:

Know what you want!

Know why you want it!

Take Massive Action!

Review your approach and make changes until you get it!

5. Fighter Mindset

While I used to think that Cage Fighting was just a barbaric side show spectacle, I have grown to respect it as a sport over the past couple of years. The fighters go through immense physical and mental preparation in the months leading up to the fight. Listen to one fighter Mark Munoz explain his determination to be the best and think about how you can adopt a similar mindset for reaching your goals.

That’s all for now, be sure to snoop around the blog to check out past newsletters and graphics freebies.

All the best,

Hey there,

How are you doing on your new year’s resolutions? Good I hope! I am still on track with my new diet and exercise routine, but more on that as I progress.

Lets get started with this week’s newsletter…

1. Graphics Freebie

This week’s graphics freebie is a layered PhotoShop file of a sales page headline. Feel free to edit it and use it on your own sales pages. Here’s a sneak peek.

*Requires PhotoShop to open and edit.

2. Graphics Tutorials

This weekend I finally broke down and picked up Camtasia. This means I can now create the kind of PhotoShop screen cast tutorials that I always had in mind. I’m looking to put together a free course on PhotoShop for internet marketers and have in mind a couple Ideas on some of the lessons I’d like to show.

But… I would love to hear what YOUR would like to see. Is there something you have always wondered how to do? Or do better, or easier? I don’t know every detail about PhotoShop, but I’ve picked up quite a bit over the past couple of years.

So, please sound off with your suggestions in the comments box below, or send me a note with the contact form above.

3. Outsourcing – You probably already do it…

When I saw a recent report on outsourcing by expert Rachel Rofe, I got to thinking about the topic of outsourcing. It’s an area that I have admittedly not gotten into much in the traditional sense. I don’t have other people write article, build website, answer emails, or create graphics for me.

The only outsourcing I do, and probably you do to, is in the form of information. The ebooks, courses, and webinars, you and I invest in is a form of outsourcing in way. Rather than spending the time to test and research all the various info taught in those products, we instead pay a little to instantly gain that information. So outsourcing doesn’t have to be too scary.

When it comes to traditional outsourcing, I guess I’m too stubborn, thinking that someone else probably wouldn’t do it exactly the way I would, therefore it wouldn’t be good or something. Then I got to thinking about other business sectors. How well would a restaurant run if the manager had to seat tables, get drinks, take orders, cook the food, deliver the food, process the payments, and do the dishes? The place probably wouldn’t make it past a lunch hour without a ton of unhappy customers. The funny thing is, many of us are doing the same in our online businesses, and how much more proficient could we be with a little help? Something to think about.

The report by Rachel I mentioned earlier is called Happy Outsourcing. It’s currently running as a WSO and you can get the details by clicking the green Happy Outsourcing button to the right.

Happy Outsourcing

4. New Quality Affiliate Program

Many of you have your own lists of customers and subscribers. One of your goals most likely is to provide great content and products that will help your customers. That’s what I try to do at least. One of the challenges can be the problem of finding high quality products that you would be proud to put your name to.

One marketer that I have been pleasantly overwhelmed with in terms of honesty, value, and no over the top hype is Shane Melaugh. The first product I bought from him was Backlink Battleplan. Not only was the content great, but the product itself is a model for how a product should be presented post sale, meaning the presentation of information. It is all top notch with getting started videos, and clean and well organized site navigation. Clearly one of the best I’ve come across.

Shane has recently introduced an all new affiliate program where you can be confident in sending your subscribers. Many of the products offer 50% commission such as the WP Plugin Ghost URL (see my video on this here.) Other products offer 100% commission such as his new WSO Cash Blueprint.

If your looking for high quality products to share with your subscribers, sign up to be an affiliate with Shane below…

5. Mindset – Action Towards A Better Future

In one of his newest blog posts, Dennis Becker writes a powerful message on the tasks we do each day at our computer when we sit down to “work”. There are clearly many things we could be doing.
